There are twelve categories of stories or “modules” that fit into a motivational sequence. Click on the links below to learn more about each module.

  2. Action/Humor: A light action story that “sweeps” them in.
  3. Cultural/Reversal: A fun story from life with a surprise ending.
  4. Huge Claim: A claim that grabs attention based on the listener’s need.
  5. Scripture: A story that illustrates the truth of a passage of Scripture.
  6. End Result: A story that portrays a changed life and offers hope.
  7. Nuts & Bolts: Facts, figures and supporting information.
  8. Voice of Authority: A story or quote from a respected authority.
  9. Miracle: A story that portrays God’s obvious intervention.
  10. Urgent Need: A story that portrays the problem or need for which you are offering a solution.
  11. Is It Worth It All: A story that portrays how your commitment and faith was put to the ultimate test.
  12. Closing: A story or statement that gives reassurance and a clear opportunity to respond.
